Physical

Physical stress can be caused by a variety of reasons ranging from an injury potentially sustained in a sporting incident or automobile accident to everyday stresses we put on our bodies such as bad posture and prolonged sitting. An overwhelming amount of physical stress on the body can have a negative impact on the integrity of your structure as well as your overall health. Chiropractic care can release the physical stress on the body by addressing the root cause through specific and individualized body work.

Chemical

Chemical stresses can be external and/or internal. This means that chemical stressors can potentially come from the food you eat, the air you breathe, and the water you drink, to your body’s microscopic ability to expel excess toxins that are created inside your body when performing typical day-to-day functions.

Emotional

Emotional stress plays more of a role on your physical wellbeing and your overall health than many give it credit for. Research has proven that your emotional state can be improved by altering your physical state.  Movement increases endorphins which enhances your mood, increases blood flow to the brain providing much needed oxygen and nutrients to reduce the effects of stress on the nervous system, among other benefits to reduce the effects of emotional stress on your body.

Meet Dr. Giorgia Carletti

Dr. Giorgia Carletti was born and raised in Milan, Italy. She was recruited to play golf for the D1 school, Houston Baptist University, where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. With the guidance of a mentor and chiropractor from home, she graduated with her Doctorate in Chiropractic from Life University in Atlanta, Georgia.

Dr. Giorgia utilizes a holistic approach in her care, striving to help clients achieve health naturally through improved biomechanics and nutrition. Her total-body chiropractic treatment is a method of adjusting which utilizes neurological checks and muscles tests to determine weaknesses throughout the body. This helps detect the cause of her patient’s pain or symptoms by removing interferences.

Her love and dedication to sports in conjunction with her passion for chiropractic is a powerful combination to help reduce sport injuries and keep the body moving with proper biomechanics.

Meet Dr. Jayde Gray

Dr. Jayde relocated to this beautiful island from Upstate NY in 2016 after graduating from New York Chiropractic College, now known as Northeast College of Health Sciences. Prior to attending chiropractic college, she earned her Bachelors in Music with a focus in vocal performance. She found that her history studying the art of music has helped her learn her own way of expressing the art of chiropractic.

Dr. Jayde offers individualized plans for her patients by providing nutritional advice and integrating myofascial release and movement into her care. Dr. Jayde loves to adjust the little patients at 8 Flags Chiropractic, from newborns to adolescents. She also offers in-person and virtual functional nutrition consultations to anyone struggling with complaints ranging from the inability to lose weight to a new or old diagnosis of a chronic disease such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, or liver cirrhosis.

Outside of the office, Dr. Jayde loves to spend time watching her new daughter, Scarlet, learn and grow, train in the gym for the next bikini competition, and practice her ballroom dance skills with her husband, Dr. James.
